Henry C. Ballman, Jr., age 77, of Brick, NJ died September 23, 2021, at his home. Henry was born in Elizabeth, NJ and moved to Brick where he has spent most of his life. Henry worked as an Inspector for Schweitzers Paper Mill in Spotswood and at Atlas Recording Machine in Point Pleasant.

Henry served in the U.S. Navy on a helicopter carrier and was honorably discharged after six years. Henry was a lifetime member of the Elks in Brick for 43 years. He helped at Bingo and the Ladies Auxiliary. He loved fishing, crabbing, and boating with the Jersey Coast Shark Anglers in Brick. Henry was also an avid bowler who was on a league at Ocean Lanes.

Henry was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Alma Ballman, and his sister, Diane DeMartino.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Rankin Ballman; two brothers, John Ballman and his wife Patricia of Brick, NJ, and Robert Ballman of Toms River, NJ; two sisters, Joanie Griggs and her husband Donald of RI, and Marie Cashin of Brick, NJ and his brother-in-law, Nick DeMartino of FL.

Viewing hours will be held with a service at 6pm with the Elks, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick, NJ. There will be a Funeral Service at the funeral home followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Brielle, NJ.
