Florence Marie (Ockuly) Booth (1908-2005)

WOLFEBORO - Florence Marie (Ockuly) Booth, 97, died Dec. 27, 2005 at the Mountain View Nursing Home in Ossipee. She was born April 20, 1908, the tenth of 11 children in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa (Klein) Ockuly. Prior to living in Wolfeboro, she lived in Sun City, Arizona, and previous to that in Rocky River, Ohio.

Her late husband of 64 years, John W. Booth, was the advertising director for the Cleveland Plain Dealer for many years.

Mrs. Booth was an active volunteer at Saint John's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and Boswell Hospital in Sun City, Arizona.

Survivors include her only child, David E. Booth and his wife Patricia of Wolfeboro, NH; four grandchildren: John Booth, Joseph Booth, Ann Booth Merrill, Mary Booth Meagher; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be said in her memory at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in January.
