Joyce Loraine Britts, 72, of Glendale, AZ, joined our Heavenly Father on
March 13, 2008. She was born on November 18, 1935 in Miami, Florida to Mr. and Mrs Washington Conger. Joyce met and married Ekermille "Ernie" F. Britts in Florida. They traveled around the
world with USAF as they raised their family. She volunteered for many organizations over the years, starting as a candy striper. Joyce held various positions within the Girl Scouts organization, was a Doecent with Game and Fish, and taught adult ESL. Joyce worked for various hospitals and was responsible for the Nurses' Aides and also worked with the Grey Ladies program. Joyce was a devoted member of the Northwest Church of God in Sun City. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joyce will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Ernie of 54 years, daughter Barbara Osbon, sons Ernie Jr. (Kathy), Jeff (Karen) and David (Christi) Britts, sisters Hazel Mead and Louise Gatewood. Also left behind to cherish her memory are grandchildren; April, Amy, Adrian, Angela, Garrett, Brittany, Brandon, Shauna, Brenda, Jamie, Jacob, Josh, Matthew and Christopher. Great grandchildren; Trenten, Colten, Autumn, Kyen, Kylie and Makaya. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 10-11 AM followed by Service's, 11:00 AM at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave in Glendale, AZ. Burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ.
