Daughter of Annie Bessie (Mazac) Frederick & Charlie F. Frederick (aka Karel Fredrick) of Bartlett,Taylor, Granger, Crosby, Texas. Her Father called her Renie.
Aunt Agnes Rainnie is responsible for a lot of the family info and pics that I have posted, and I owe a debt of gratitude to her and Renee Christ Sanders, her granddaughter that lent me her pics and papers after her passing.
Married to Eddie "Ed" John Christ in 1933 in Liberty, Liberty County, Texas. Divorced in about 1945.
Mother of one daughter, Peggy Gene Christ, who died in infancy; and one son, Raymond Joseph Christ, who survived her.
Agnes Rainnie (Frederick) Christ was my father, Leroy Eugene Frederick's sister.
Aunt Agnes Rainnie (Frederick) Christ passed away after midnight on Thursday, October 15, 2009, in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
She was a proud Moravian descendant. Thank God, she is finally getting her wish to go home to be with Jesus and her family and friends. Rainnie was a devout Catholic.
Resided in Rehabilitation Center, Wallisville Road, Houston, Texas, up until her death from Cancer.
Born October 12, 1914 in Rockdale, Milam County, Texas to Charlie and Bessie Frederick, passed from her earthly life on October 15, 2009 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.

Agnes has been a resident of the Houston area for the past seventy-five years; Agnes loved fishing and gardening, but she truly loved to dance polka, at Bill Mraz where many Saturday nights were spent dancing with friend, Timmy O'Donohoe.
Aunt Rainnie worked at Henke & Pillot Groceries (now Kroger) for years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Frederick; brothers, Leroy Eugene Frederick, Woodrow Frederick, and Charles Frederick; special friend, Timothy "Timmy" O'Donohoe; daughter, Peggy Jean Christ. (There is no headstone for Peggy).
She is survived by her son, Raymond Joseph Christ and second wife Barbara; granddaughters, Teri Nelson, Brenda Sternthal and husband Rich, and Renee Sanders and husband Gene; step grandsons, Robert Rowlett & Michael Rowlett and wife Becky; sister, Juanita Elizabeth "Punkin" Christ; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 5-8PM at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, TX 77562.
