Joseph G. Lampe, 66, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.
Joseph was born on February 13, 1957 in Peoria, IL, a son of Joseph I. and Katherine (Ballerini) Lampe. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by one brother, Fred (Pat) Lampe of Louisville, KY.
Joseph graduated Spalding Institute in 1975 and then from Bradley University with a Bachelor's degree in finance in 1979. He was an Insurance Underwriter for Central Insurance of Ohio, until his retirement in 1993. He had an audience with St. Teresa of Calcutta when she visited Peoria, IL. Joseph was an avid St. louis Cardinal fan.
Burial of ashes will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
