Punta Gorda - Dr. William Mizell, 68, died Thursday at his home in Atlanta, Ga. He was born in Punta Gorda and spent most of his life as a practicing Dentist. He served with the armed forces in World War I. He was a member of Punta Gorda Lodge N. 115 F&AM and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mattie Mae Hatch, Punta Gorda and Mrs. Leon Mizell, Miami; half-brother, A. P. Hatch, Miami; foster daughter Evelyn Jones, Decatur, Ga.; and nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Prayer service will be at 9 a.m. Monday in the Punta Gorda Chapel with the Rev. Reese Y. Henderson of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Graveside Service will be a 11 a.m. in Pine Level Cemetery by the Masonic Order, Lodge No. 11, Charlotte County who will also serve as pallbearers. All local arrangements are by the Edward R.
