Fred Sisco Passes Last Friday
Frederick A. Sisco, 77, Gladwin township farmer, passed away at his home on Friday, October 29. Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Fr. K. D. McGinn officiating. Burial was in the Ridge cemetery. A prayer service was held at the home on Monday evening.
Mr. Sisco was born in Sanilac county in 1871, and spent most of his life in Gladwin county. He lived on his farm in Gladwin township for the past 37 years. He was married to Miss Theresa Foran in 1899, in Gladwin.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Lynn of Detroit and William at home; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Mayer, of Detroit; one nephew, Patrick Foran of Gladwin; also a number of grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Clyde Zettel, Ray Flynn, Leo Villeneuve, Wendell Foor, Fred Greer and Ron Bellinger. Gladwin County Record dated 11-3/1948 Column – 4 Page – 1.
