Mrs. J. D. Maupin Died at Teague Home Monday, April 1
Minnie Louise Campbell was born at Jefferson County, Missouri, November 30,1871. She united with the First Baptist Church in De Soto Missouri, at the age of twelve. She was married to John D. Maupin on December 14, 1889.
She came with her husband and family to Teague in January, 1909 where she lived until death came to her at 2 o'clock a.m., April 1, 1940.
She is survived by her husband and three daughters, who constantly attended her during her last illness. The daughters, Mrs. R. C. Castleberry and Mrs. M. M. Cain of Teague, and Mrs. Loyd Allen of Esterville, Iowa. A son, C. R. Maupin preceded her in death August 13, 1936.
Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren, four sister, Mrs. O. T. Maupin and Miss Grace Campbell of Waco, Mrs. G. O. Gideon of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. J. W. King of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, F. S. Campbell of Teague and G. A. Campbell of Springfield, Mo., are also survivors.
Mrs. Maupin was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Teague from 1914 until her death.
Those who attended her funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Maupin of Kansas City, Kansas; Mrs. Roy Long, St. Louis, Mo.; Harry Maupin and son Charles of De Soto, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. G. O. Gideon, Grace and Buddie Gideon of Tulsa, Okla.; G. A. Campbell of Springfield, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. J. W. King and Mrs. J. E. Bourland of Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Maupin, Miss Grace Campbell
and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Maupin of Waco; J. L. Roach of Childress; F. B. Stough of Houston; and Ira Seals, Buffalo, Texas.
