A well-known businessman for over 50 years in Danville, he owned and operated a jewelry Store on Mill street.
He was born in Washingtonville April 5, 1884. His wife, Mary, him in death seven years, ago.
Mr. Wagner was an active member of the Pine Street Lutheran Church and a member of the Danville Rotary Club, the F&AM Lodge 224, Knights of Templar and the Irem Temple of Wilkes-Barre.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by one son, John C: Wagner, of Frederick, Maryland; and three grandchildren, Barbara, Nancy and John.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, from the Thad S. Vincent Funeral Home, Danville, with the Rev. Herbert D. Cressman, his pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m., tomorrow.
Persons wishing to remember Mr. Wagner are asked to make contributions, in his memory, to the building fund of the Pine Street Lutheran Church.

Funeral services for Mr. Cleaver W. Wagner, resident of 103 Bloom street, Danville, were held at 2 p.m., today, from the Thad S. Vincent Funeral Home, Danville, with the Rev. Herbert D. Cressman, pastor of Pine Street Lutheran Church, officiating.
Interment followed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frank Schroedel, Dean Lyon, Donald Swank, Sam Keefer, Porter Wagner and Clyde Shannon.
