Roy A. Culbertson, 67, of 751 Highland Park Dr., died at his home on Thursday, Feb. 12, following a short illness.

Mr. Culbertson retired in 1967 from Goodrich as a department manager, after 48 years of service. He was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, living in the Akron area for 50 years. A member of Goss Memorial Church, Goodrich 20-Year Club, Pennsylvania and Ohio Rod and Gun Club, he served as the treasurer-secretary for the Goodrich Foreman's Club.

Mr. Culbertson was preceded in death by his first wife, Demaris A. (Brown) Culbertson in 1936. He leaves his second wife, Frances; three sons, Homer and Roy, both of Akron, and Dale of Barberton; two daughters, Mrs. Franklin Lorenz of Cuyahoga Falls, and Mrs. Ronald McConnaughey of Akron; brother, John of Altoona, PA; four sisters, Mrs. Jack Hatch and Miss Frieda Culbertson, both of Altoona, Mrs. Charles Beeson of Warsaw, IN, and Mrs. Cora Bond of Los Angeles; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Schlup-Cox Funeral Home. Interment in Crown Hill Burial Park.
