Charlie Junior Baird, age 64, of Siloam Springs, Ark., passed away Fri., Dec. 22, 2022, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Aug. 18, 1958, in Lapeer, MI., to Charlie Baird and Mazzie Henry Baird. In 1979 Junior married the love of his life, Cathy South.
Junior owned and operated JR Baird Stone Works for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, and was a hard worker providing for his family. He was known to his grandchildren and many others as "Bug".
Junior was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Robert, Larry, and Janice Baird. Junior is survived by his loving wife Cathy, children Gilbert, Charlie (Miranda), Charlene Phillips (Marcella), and Janice Travis (Dakota), and siblings Susie Blackwell (Steve), Eddie (Becky), and Roy (Glenda), sister-in-law Judy, nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 pm Thurs., Dec. 29, 2022, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Ark. Graveside service at McDaniel Cemetery on Cattle Dr., Rogers, Ark. (Lowell, Ark.) at 11 am Fri., Dec. 30, 2022, officiated by Doug Irwin.
