Age 83, lifelong resident of Three Oaks, passed away on January 2, 2023. She was born on November 17, 1939 in Buchanan, Michigan; daughter of William and Katherine (Fisher) Lynch. Myra was united in marriage to Beryl F. Hinman on September 28, 1957; they spent 63 years lovingly devoted to one another until his death on June 28, 2021.

Myra graduated from Three Oaks High School; Class of 1957. Following high school, she began her career as an office manager and accountant for Independent Steel where she worked for over 40 years before retiring. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Three Oaks. Active in the church, Myra sang in the choir and served on the parish council. She was honored to share her faith and serve as Godmother to her niece, Michelle, nephews Kirk and Brad, and great-nephew Samuel.

Myra volunteered for the Three Oaks Pantry and alongside her husband with the Three Oaks Ambulance Department aiding many people over the years. She was an avid Notre Dame fan, watching and cheering for them any chance she could. Much of her free time was spent tending to her many gardens where she grew both flowers and vegetables. She canned her harvests so her hard work could be enjoyed throughout the year. Myra was a wonderful cook; she made delicious lasagna and ravioli complete with homemade noodles. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping. . Myra enjoyed going to the beach at Warren Dunes and spending long weekends in Saugatuck. She also fell in love with the tranquil beaches of Waikiki during a 25th wedding anniversary trip with Beryl, travelling back each year for several weeks. Myra was fond of her kitties and horses. She especially adored her cat, Missy. With all of the love and care Missy received, she lived well into her twenties. Myra was a beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend; she will be missed by all who loved her.

Myra is survived by her loving sister, Sharon Dahring; her niece, Michelle (Jim) Spiker; her nephews, Kirk (Kim) Dahring and Brad (Kathleen) Dahring; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Noon at St. Mary of the Assumption, 28 West Ash Street, Three Oaks, MI 49128. A Celebration of Life will be held thereafter at the Three Oaks American Legion. Myra will be laid to rest with her husband in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Three Oaks, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to The Tawny K. Dahring Foundation, 49411 Waterstone Estates Circle, Northville, MI 48168. A foundation created in the loving memory of Tawny Dahring to provide funds for cancer research and comfort care for people afflicted with the disease.
