Alice Dorsett passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born on April 30, 1934 to Jesse Calvin and Beulah Mae (Walker) King in Randolph, Texas. She married James Roy Dorsett on March 8, 1952 in Oklahoma.
She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Kizer and husband, Kurt of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Evan Kizer, Ryan Kizer, and Mallory Kizer; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Dorsett; son, James Roger Dorsett; grandson, J.C. Kizer; and brother, J.C. King.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. Please join the family afterwards for a reception at Accasia's Event Venue (351 Southwind Lane, Fairview, Texas).
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
