The memorial service for Blaine will be at 2 PM Saturday at Meinhart-Neil Funeral Home, Effingham. Pastor Joe Briseno will officiate at the service. Visitation will be held one hour before the service
Mr. Robinson was born October 9, 1937, in Lovington, Illinois, the son of Faye A. (Appleby) and Roy E. Robinson. Blaine accepted the Lord on December 31, 2001.
Blaine worked for the Postal Service in Arthur Illinois and retired from Yellow Freight Truck Lines, Chicago.
Surviving are his sons; Monty (wife, P.J.) of Greenup, Rick (wife, Dawn) of Arthur, James, of Colorado; daughters, Jill (husband, Scott) Beals of Effingham, Rita (husband, Brad) Cox of Charleston; grand-children, Holly and Mallory Robinson, a Greenup, Liberty, and Lance Robinson of Arthur, Nathan Cox of Charleston and Jordan and Allison Beals of Effingham. Also surviving our; Sharon, Bulow of Chicago, his fiancee, sister Judy (husband, Larry) Shafer and Carolyn (husband, Albert) Sowersof Jewett.
Blaine was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, June Robinson.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, vacationing, golfing and visiting. We will carry his love with us.
