Born Dec. 15, 1889, in Andrew County, she died Nov. 11 in a St Joseph hospital. She was married to Harry Sherbondy Jan. 28, 1923, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Sherbondy and her husband moved to DeKalb County in 1928, where they farmed until 1945, when they moved to Maysville. Following her husband's death, she moved to Savannah. She was a member of the First Christian Church and American Legion Auxiliary, both of Maysville.
Survivors include a son, James R. Sherbondy of St Joseph; a step-daughter, Alice Rose Graham of Rosendale; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren." Savannah Reporter and Andrew County Democrat (Savannah, Missouri), November 16, 1978
