Son of Joseph Bomford and Mary Bomford (nee Hughes), Joseph was a farmer of 55 acres.

Albert married Julia Marion Lilwall, on the 13th November 1883, at Fladbury, and they had 2 children.

Before moving to Thanet, Albert was a farmer, in Thanet, Kent, he was the Managing Director of a Laundry Company called the Ramsgate and County Steam Laundry Ltd, Launderers (& carpet beating works)-near the Windmill, Grange Road, Ramsgate.

1921 census, Albert was living at 39, Grange Road, Ramsgate, along with his son Leonard (36, single), and Edith Austin (29, single, from Faversham), servant.

He was living at 39, Grange Road, Ramsgate, when he died and he left his effects of £18528 19s. 6d., to John Edward Lilwall, company director, and Georgina Lilwall Lilwall (wife of John Edward Lilwall).

Founder of the County Laundry, Mr Albert Henry Bomford, passed away at 39, Grange Road, Ramsgate, on Friday. Aged 94 years, Mr Bomford came to this town about 45 years ago. For some years he was an enthusiastic member of St Augustine's golf club and played regulary till about seven years ago. Mr Bomford was of a quiet and ...? nature but was for 40 years .... ...? and a deacon at Cavendish Baptist Church. (some of the article is difficult to read).
