Patsy Edmonds, 74 of Cameron died Wednesday, July 2 in a Cameron Nursing home. Services 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Edmonds was born August 5, 1928 to Roy and Jewel Stanley Skeen in Cooper. She graduated East Texas State University before receiving her masters from Texas A & M University. She retired from the Cameron ISD after 30 years of service. Mrs. Edmonds was a member of the First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1999.
Survivors include: daughter, Karen Zielinski and fiance, Dennis Daly of Cameron. Sisters, Betty Thompson of Cooper, Thalia McCarter of Paris and Thelia Jones of Paris and one grandchild.
