Grady Willis Coker

Grady Willis Coker, 77, of Cameron, died Friday, May 30 at his residence. Services 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Coker, a retired Alcoa instrument technician, rancher and business owner, was born November 19, 1925 to Ellis and Alice Skaggs Coker in Hunt County. He served in the 69th infantry of the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a life member of The American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Amy Schlemmer July 21, 1997.

Survivors include: wife, Amy Coker of Cameron, 3 sons, Ed Coker of Friendswood, Danny Coker of Hewitt, Randy Coker of Temple, 1 daughter, Debby Garrett of Morgan's Point, 2 Step-daughters, Rosiland Graham of Houston, Susan Duff of Houston and 11 grandchildren.
