William N Hoss 83-year-old member of a pioneer East Tennessee family died yesterday-at his home in Portland Ore according to word received by his brother Hugh Hoss of Wears Valley.
Mr Hoss: a machinist was a native of Johnson City but had worked in Knoxville Birmingham Atlanta and Portland his brother said Hugh Hoss a former member of the editorial staff of The Knoxville Journal said he last saw his brother in 1907.
William Hoss is survived by his wife two daughters and his brother.
Funeral services and Interment will be Friday in Portland
