DOEPFER - Connie Ray, 61, of Johnstown. Died April 11, 2023 at home. Born June 22, 1961 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Thomas R. and Ethel (Thomas) Parkinson. Also preceded in death by husband, Dennis Doepfer; sister Patty Tillman; and step-son Benjamin. Survived by sisters Brenda (Daniel) Zak, Nanette Macy, Sandra (Jack) Geisel and brother Thomas (Kimberly) Parkinson. Step-son, Patrick (Abi) Doepfer; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Shawn and Megan Fyock, and their children Kaylene, Laikyn, Holden Fyock, Peggy Croasmen, and Debra Kralik. Connie was employed with Children and Youth Development Corp. She was also a devoted member of the Ferndale Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. Though her words weren't always the softest, she was always great to get a laugh and a smile out of you. Her character, affection, and camaraderie will be missed by her students, friends, and family. Friends received 1 to 4 pm Sunday and from 10 am to time of service at 11 am Monday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Pastor Terry Knipple, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery
