Rowdy Halliburton Final Rites Held
Waelder—Funeral services for Rody Halliburton were held at the Waelder Baptist church Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m., with the pastor, Rev. Claude F. O'Neall officiating.
He was born Nov. 13, 1872 near Waelder where he has been a lifelong resident. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Eddie McGill of Austin, Mrs, Savanah Latham of Houston and three brothers, Orvens Chubb of Houston, Kerr and J. B. Halliburton of Waelder.
Members of the Waelder Baptist church choir furnished the music, singing two of his favorite songs, "In the Sweet By and By" and "In The Garden".
