Ruby Chenault Goff, 94, a retired teacher, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007, in Brownwood.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Aledo Church of Christ. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Ruby was born May 28, 1912, in Brock. She was a teacher who retired after 30 years of service with the Aledo and Fort Worth ISDs. She was a member of the Fourth and Stewart Street Church of Christ in Brownwood, a longtime member of Aledo Church of Christ and a charter member of the Retired Teacher Association of Aledo.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Goff and Homer Chenault.
Survivors: Daughter, Linda Griffith and husband, Allen; grandchildren, Brad Griffith and wife, Nita, Kari Rejcek and husband, Thomas, and Matthew Griffith and wife, Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Brock, Benjamin, Katie Lynn, Caroline and Luke; and several nieces and nephews.
