Mrs. Albert Dakins died at her home in Buena Vista Jan. 12, after an illness of three months with liver and heart trouble.
Clara Brooks was born Nov. 6, 1862, in the town of Lind, Waupaca county and was married to . Albert Dakins Dec. 26, 1885.
She leaves a husband and one adopted son to mourn her loss, besides a host of friends. She also leaves four brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Dakins was a member of the M. E. church at Liberty Corners, always taking an active part in all church work, being secretary and also one of the trustees. She will be greatly missed not only in the church but in her own neighborhood. She was always ready to lend a helping hand in sickness or to the needy and to know her was to love arid respect her. She was a great sufferer but never complained and as the end drew near she said to friends.
Her funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the M. E. church Rev. Roberts officiating. The L. O. T. M. conducted the services at the cemetery.
