Robert M. Mosley, 83, entered into rest at 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at The Gardens at West Shore in Camp Hill. He was the loving husband of Betty Jane (Reed) Mosley. The couple celebrated 61 years of marriage on January 20, 2023. Born November 21, 1939 in Madera, PA, he was a son of the late Lewis and Bessie (Locket) Mosley. Robert graduated from Moshannon Valley High School in 1958 and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1994 from GTE and was previously employed by Henkles & McCoy. Following retirement, he worked at Briarwood Golf Club. Bob was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post 791. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his daughter, Pamela K. Prowell and fiancé, John Clapsaddle of Spring Grove; son, Scott E. Mosley and wife, Kristin of Wellsville; two granddaughters, Jamey C. Kitlinski and Kelly E. Klinedinst and husband, Brandon; four great grandchildren, Zoey, Scarlett, Mitchell and Jackson; and two sisters, Mona and Judy, both of Clearfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Tracey L. Mosley. Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robert's memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave., York, where veteran's honors will be presented by the York County Veteran's Honor Guard. Officiating will be the Rev. Richard Hall. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
