Elaine worked for Crowley''s Department Store in Detroit where she obtained approval of the art work for advertising from the buyers. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1995.The couple resided in the Detroit area the majority of their lives, until 1977, when they moved to Marshall. Elaine and her husband, Robert, were co-founders of the American Museum of Magic in Marshall, opening the doors in 1978.
