On September 29, 1936, he was united in marriage with Arlene Dilley at New Hampton. Tom farmed and did carpentry for a time before becoming a longtime employee of McDonald Cattle Sales Company.
Following a lengthy illness, Tom's death occured Tuesday afternoon, January 24 1995 at Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner. He was 76 years old and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, Arlene of Sumner, he is survived by one son, Larry McCue of Oelwein: one daughter, Patricia Bergman and her husband, Wayne of Maple Grove, Minnesota; four grandchildren: two greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Willard McCue of Sumner and Robert McCue of Davenport; and three sisters, Elaine, Mrs. louis Gitch of Sumner. Joanne, Mrs Tom Davenport of Fresno, Calif. and Mrs Jean Dier of Sumner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edward and Donald.
