Ada Borman
Ada Borman, 90, of Jacksonville, formerly of Greene County, died at 5:50 a.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1986, at Passavant Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.
She was born in Greene County, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Logan) Schild. On March 12, 1913, she married Martin A. Borman, and he died Nov. 16, 1967.
She was employed at the State Hospital in Jacksonville as a ward attendant for many years.
Surviving, are two sons, Herbert of Jacksonville and Emerit of Morton; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Lelia Ansell of Carrollton; and a brother, Wayne Schild of Greenfield.
Services were conducted at Airsman-Hires funeral home in Carrollton at 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. William Schmidt officiating.
Burial was in Dayton Cemetery in Eldred.
The Illinois Heart Association has been designated as a memorial.
Lela Thein was organist, Rev. Schmidt sang "I Know My Redeemer Lives."
Pallbearers were: Richard Varble, George Varble, Lynell Schild, Ronald Borman, Martin Borman, and June Wayham.
