Born to Converse and Clara Nina Shanks Weeks, she was a former resident of Friendswood and was a longtime resident of Woodville. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Woodville.
She is survived by her husband of sixty four years, Ben Copeland; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Sidney Boyt; grandchildren,Eric Keith, Kile Keith, Sharon Turner and Phyllis Carrington; great grandchildren, Zachary Carrington, Christopher Carrington and Joshua Carrington, Nicole Turner and Ryan Turner and Kilene Keith.
