Nancy Callie "Louie" Dean Breeden was the daughter of William Breeden and Mary M. "Mollie" Raper. She married John Andrew Armstrong on 29 June 1902 in Emet, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. John and Louie had 3 children in Indian Territory: Mildred (1903), Willie (1905) and Edna (1907). They moved to Shiloh, Jones County, Texas in 1907 and ran a store for Louie's uncle, Henry Clayton Breeden. While in Shiloh, the couple had 3 more children: David (1908), Ernest (1909) and Ira (1911). David died at almost 1 year and is buried in Shiloh Cemetery. In January 1912, the family moved to Donna, Hidalgo County, Texas. They had 3 additional children: Mary (1912), Bertha (1915) and Ola Vera (1916). Both Bertha and Ola Vera died in 1916 and are buried next to Louie sharing the same tombstone. Louie had surgery at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi and died of kidney failure on 2 June 1917. John brought her body back to Donna for burial. John died in 1938 and is buried next to Louie but his name was never added to the tombstone.
