Orel Monroe Davidson, 92, son of James M. and Myrtie M. (Hulett) Davidson was born in Webber Dec. 2, 1903. He died Friday at the Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde.

He was raised and lived in the Webber community. A graduate from Webber High School, he was a farmer and teacher having taught school in one room schools in Jewell and Republic counties for 21 1/2 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Vernon, Aubrey and Ray; and two sisters, Freida Rothchild and Garnet Davidson.

He played a piano, did a lot of writing and had written a book "Memories of a School Teacher." He kept many scrap books of clippings and articles.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

Services are today (Thursday), at 1:30 p.m. from Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel, Superior, with the Rev. Paul Hoerner officiating.

Burial will be in Webber Cemetery.
