The information in this memorial is not correct. This James C Minnis born 1818 died 1908 (there were a lot of them) was the son of Thomas Minnis. James wife was Martha J Dill
He did NOT marry Letticia Kirkpatrick. The James C Minnis who married Letticia Kirkpatrick was my 2nd GGrandfather who was the son of James Minnis and Nancy Sterns. He was born 12 June 1825 and died 13 Feb 1880 and is buried in Eden Cemetery in Gibson County, IN
His FAG Memorial # is 34161169
James C Minnis 1825 - 1880 served in the Civil War in Company F of the 42nd Ind Infantry
