Letha Delphene (Stephenson) Hammond was born on January 26, 1906 in Basehor, Kansas; daughter of Charles H. and Clara Mae (Strubelt) Stephenson.

Letha married William Richard Hammond on November 3, 1928.

At the time of her death, Letha was an employee of Arden Dairy in Los Angeles, California for 20 years.

Letha passed away on July 16, 1959 at her home in Los Angeles, California at the age of 53 years, 5 months, 20 days.

Funeral services for Letha Hamamond was held at the Basehor Methodist Church in Basehor, Kansas on July 23, 1959 at 2:00 pm with Rev John Spitler officiating.

Officiating was Rev. Rex Kelly. Song selections were "Beautiful Isle Of Somewhere" and "Goodnight Here And Goodmorning Up There".

Pall Bearers were Charles Elmer Nance, Fred E. Laird, George Klinkenburg, Edward Williams, Charles Bates, and William Stephenson Jr.

Letha was laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery in Basehor Kansas on July 23 1959 at 2:30 pm.

She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
