Shubael Peck was the father of Elizabeth and Huldah who both died young. He was married twice: first to Huldah Hunt and second to Molly Wade. He was the son of Ebenezer and Margaret Whitaker Peck. He held a colonel's commission, represented his town in the state legislature, was justice of the peace, etc. He died from injuries received in the saw mill.
