Mr. Alex Allen Carwile "Ted Allen", 83 of Cullman Alabama formerly of Anniston Alabama passed away on April 1, 2023. A visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday April 5, 2023, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. A graveside service will follow at Dogwood Trails Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:30pm with Reverend Buddy Nelson officiating.
He is survived by his son, Jim Carwile; daughters, Debbie Roszell and Cindy Palmer; grandchildren, Shelley Miller (Patrick), Chris Bates (Ashley), Jared Palmer (Miranda), Katie Carwile, Lindsey Carwile, Coley Carwile; great grandchildren, Ashlyn Miller Rone (Dalton), Wesley Miller, Jackson Palmer, Jameson Palmer, Boden Bates, Tanner Bates, Warren Bates, Spencer Atwood; brothers, Bobby Carwile, Ray Carwile, Kenny Carwile, Glenn Carwile; sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Ann Thorn; brothers-in-laws, Clifton Coley and Bill Coley; special friend, Dennis Borwick (Kim); and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Alex and Mary Earline Carwile; loving wife, Linda Coley Carwile; sister, Betty Wallace; son-in-law, Steve Palmer; brother-in-law, Steve Thorn.
Pallbearers will be, Patrick Miller, Wesley Miller, Dalton and Ashlyn Rone.
Grandaddy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a love for Radio and Music and even had the best radio announcer voice that no one will ever forget. He also loved Alabama Football and spending time with his family and friends. The family is comforted in knowing that he is now reunited with Nanny.
