Swanty John Benson was born in Kinne-Kleva,Husaby,Skaraborg,Sweden,the son of Johanes Bengston and Anna Lena Johnson. Swanty came to this country aboard the ship WYOMING when he was 15 years of age. He sailed from Liverpool on September 15 1875 and arrived in New York harbor September 26 1875. After being processed through Castle Garden immigration center He was taken to New Jersy train station by steamboat. The train moved out of the station about 7:30 PM on the 27th of Septempber and arrived in Ogden Utah October 5th 1875.
