LUCASVILLE — Charlene Bertha Aeh, 78, of Lucasville, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born September 2, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles Davis and Elizabeth Sears Bowmer.
Charlene was retired from the Human Resource Department of Scioto Residential Services and a 1956 graduate from Dayton Fairmont High School. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Portsmouth and a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Women's Association.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Kantz; one daughter Lora Fells; step-children Kimberly Ray and Andy Aeh; and a sister, Gail.
Charlene is survived by her husband, Jhan Aeh, whom she married April 20, 1985 in Portsmouth; one son, one step-daughter; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; two brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Portsmouth with Rev. Evan Fisher officiating. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
