Mrs. Barbara Jean Beach McKay, age 77, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 24, 1945 in Boone County, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late Homer Lee and Dorothy Lee Williams Beach. Barbara was raised in Ghent and resided in Carroll County until 1961. On March 22, 1961 Barbara was united in marriage to Warren Neal McKay in Ghent, Kentucky. This happy union of 60 years was blessed with one daughter, Theresa. Barbara worked early in life at the Scotts 5 & Dime Store in downtown Madison. She was a homemaker all of her life and was a devoted wife and mother. Barbara enjoyed keeping her house immaculate. Barbara died on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 11:29 a.m. at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Barbara will be missed by her loving daughter, Theresa Baxter and her husband Dennis of Madison, Indiana; her brothers, Frank beach and his wife Laura of Carroll County, Kentucky, and Jarvis Beach of Carroll County, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Lee Beach, died July 25, 1959, her mother, Dorothy Lee Williams Beach, died May 10, 1995, her husband, Warren Neal McKay, died July 11, 2021, her sisters, Violet Marie Beach Blackaby, died June 7, 2017, Agnes Pearl Beach Comer, died February 1, 1980, Pinkie Lee Beach Ritchie, died April 16, 2022, Linda Sue Beach Maiden, died April 27,2016, and Connie Rose Beach McKay, September 6, 2015. her brothers, Albert Beach, and Ernest Jay Beach, died Spril 14, 2010.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.m, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
