Clay Akers age 85 of Guin, AL passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home.
Born March 12, 1938 in Guin, AL, he is the Son of the late Woodie and Christine Shaw Akers. He had lived in Guin most of his life and had retired from working in the coal mines. He was a member of the Guin First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by a Son, Mark (Debra) Akers, 2 Grand Daughters, Whitney Akers, and Jennifer (Kevin) Callowy, 7 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, a Brother, David (Florence) Akers.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, a Son, Doug Akers and a Brother, Bobby Akers.
