ALLEN DUSCH OBITUARY
Allen L. Dusch, 37, DuBois, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at UPMC in Pittsburgh.
Born Jan. 14, 1977, in Lock Haven, he was the son of Lois J. Decker Dusch and the late Irvin B. Dusch.
Allen graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1995.
He was a member of the Sabula Fire Department for many years.
He was a history buff and loved spending time with his family. His love of electronics was evident. Allen loved surfing the Internet and playing video games. In addition, he liked to watch movies and had a flair for keeping notes, facts and figures.
Allen loved his country and was proud to be an American.
All those who knew Allen knew him to be a kind, gentle giant with a heart of gold.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Allen is survived by his maternal grandmother, Agnes Decker of St. Marys; his step-father, Thomas Gusky of DuBois; four siblings, Amy (Terry) Dube of DuBois, Karen Leech of Hazen, Paul (Gail) Dusch of Grayville, Ill., and Steven (Carol) Czekai of Penfield; two lifelong friends, Ondie Clark and Ronald Delp, and numerous nieces, especially his new little baby nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Allen was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, Harris Decker; two aunts, Debbie Decker Blondin and Diane Boroi; and his paternal grandparents.
There will be no public visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Adamson Funeral Chapel Inc. in DuBois.
