A. Rebecca Clark McDonald, 75, formerly of Dutchman, WV passed away Oct. 30, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. She was born April 20, 1943 in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Gail and Eleanor Buzzard Clark. She was a graduate of Harrisville High School with the class of 1960. She was a housewife and a very loving one. She was a member of Mt Olive United Methodist Church and attended Macfarlan Community Church. Rebecca loved working around her flowers especially when coming in bud in spring of the year, playing cards, word games, bingo, cooking, spending time with family and friends and caring for her pets. Her greatest pleasure in life was watching her grandchildren grow up. She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, warm smile and caring heart for others. Rebecca leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Chris M. Bennett (Tim) of St. Marys; three sons, Wilbert G. McDonald of Smithville; Joseph B. McDonald (Tracie) of Harrisville and Terry McDonald of Smithville; two sisters, Linda Jones of St. Marys and Brenda Junkins of Dutchman; one aunt Mary Haught of Beatrice; one uncle, Virgil Clark of Newark, OH; four grandchildren, Jessica Brooke Amos, Nathan Bennett, Brandyn McDonald and Erica Morton; and six great-grandchildren, Hadden McDonald, Mia Amos, Dayzi Webster, Amelia McDonald, Ian McDonald and Wyatt Boyd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Wilbert McDonald; grandson Timmy Bennett and an infant son.
