James M. Ferrell, 76, died early last night at his home in Knightdale following an illness of several weeks.
The funeral will be held from the home this afternoon at 4 o'clock and interment will be in the family burying ground.
Mr. Ferrell, who was a faithful member of the Knightdale Baptist Church, in which he was a deacon, is survived by his wife, and the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Alma Ferrell, Mrs. Eula House, Mrs. Clellie F. Allen and Miss Mabel Ferrell, of Knightdale; W. R., J. I., and Raymond Ferrell of Knightdale; Roy E Ferrell, Winston-Salem; and Ira Dent Ferrell, Wilmington.
