Wiliam B. Garrett of Thrall died in a Temple hospital. He was 69 years old. He was the son of Frank Allan and Josephine Dickey Garrett. He married Hettie Beard on February 7, 1922. Surviving are, his wife, a sister, Fannie Gardner of Elgin,and a brother Andrew Garrett of Santa Maria California. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters,Annie Jane Hollan, Viola Drummond, Mary Garrett. Four brothers, Henry, Thomas, JW, and Elbert Garrett. Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Retreat Church. Burial in the Pleasant Retreat Cemetery.
