She is survived by her husband Jack H. Snider; one son, Rex K. Snider of Millbrook, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Dan (Barbara) Samples of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Mrs. Fred (Carolyn) Munz of Fairmont; one brother, Charles Dodd of Fairmont; two sisters, Mildred Coen of Kingwood and Martha Jane Wilson of Fairmont; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Ernest, Chester and William Dodd.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Fleming Memorial Methodist Church of Fairmont, where she was active in many church areas including the children's nursery, ladies circle and organizing dinners. She was a former employee of the Marion County Board of Education, having worked as a cook at Jayenne Elementary School and was also a former clerk at Hartley's Department Store.
Friends will be received at the R. C. Jones Funeral Home, 1410 Country Club Road, from 1-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Fleming Memorial Presbyterian Church, Locust Ave., with the Rev. Jerry McElhinny, Kenny Robinson and Thomas Clyde officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church on Saturday from noon-1 p.m.
