On July 19, 1905, Charlie married Dola May Largent in Chico, TX.
Before 1910, Charlie and Dola moved to Oklahoma Territory, where they joined a large number of their extended Street family who had homesteaded during the Land Run.
Seven children were born to Charlie and Dola. Only the two boys lived to adulthood. Sadly, the eldest child lived to age 8, the second child was stillborn or died shortly after her birth, the 5th and 6th girls were stillborn, and the 7th child died of cholera at only 1-1/2.
Charlie became ill with influenza during the flu epidemic. He developed pneumonia, an all too common complication of the flu, and succumbed to the illness on 23 October 1918, in Carter, Beckham County, OK. He was only 34 years old.
