Raymond Leon Youtsey, Sr. known to his friends and family as Rusty passed from this life on March 23, 2023 at the age of 80 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rusty was born on July 23, 1942, in Terlton, Oklahoma the son of Lloyd and Ethel May (Hodson) Youtsey. Rusty grew up and attended school in Terlton where he graduated with the Class of 1961. Following high school, he began working in the oil fields of Oklahoma with his father and brothers. Later gained employment with Nadel and Gusman where he worked until he was injured in 1989. Rusty was united in marriage to Susan E. (Steward) Roberts on August 7, 2003, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Rusty enjoyed country and bluegrass music. He was a member of the Jennings Masonic Lodge #151 and 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a member of the Akdar Shrine and always enjoyed participating in the Mini-Kar Unit as well as a part of the Scottish Rite in 2022, Rusty received his 50 year pin. Rusty took over 180 trips transporting children to the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, Galveston, Texas, St. Louis, Missouri and Chicago, Illinois. Participating in the parades and working at the Shrine Circus were always highlights of his activities.

Survivors are his wife Susan of the home, one son Raymond L. Youtsey, Jr. of Yale, Oklahoma, two sisters Doris Stevenson of Cushing, Oklahoma, Ann Purcell of Mannford, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents Rusty was preceded in death by three children Brian Keith Youtsey, LaDonna Burk, Roger Youtsey, two brothers Lloyd Youtsey, Leo Youtsey, one grandson Shayne Youtsey.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, March 27, 2023, at the Terlton Cemetery with Pastor Randall Newby officiating under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
