He was preceded in death by his Father, Ernest Bailey, and a precious granddaughter, Amy Renee.
Survived by a loving mother, Dorothy (Davis) Bailey; The love of his life and wife of 50 years, Janet (Brooks) Bailey; Three Children, Debbie, Mrs. Chris Stegall of Park Hills; Mark (Shelly) Bailey of Imperial; Shelly, Mrs. Mark Wampler of Park Hills; Ten Grandchildren, Bailey Stegall; Ashley (Heath) McGill; April Stegall; Carla Davis; Matt Bailey; Joe Bailey; Zach Reitz; Alex Reitz; Ashley (David) Ladd; Tiffany Wampler; Two Precious Great-Grandchildren, Nash Davis and Emma McGill; One Brother, Kenneth (Peggy) Bailey of Desloge; Several Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends and family also survive.
Marion was a member of the Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher for 35+ years.
He began the first bus Ministry at church in which he brought many children and adults.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, a hobby that he taught his children and grandchildren to love.
He retired from the River Cement Co. in 1999 after 35 years of work.
Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Memorial Chapel after 3 p.m. Wednesday. Instate Thursday at church from 9 - 11 a.m. Services for Marion Bailey will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Phillip, Rev. Michael Hutton, Rev. Kenneth Doggett, and Rev. Tom Malone.
Burial will be at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery.
