He was a prominent Character in the early days of Custer City, Idaho. He owned Restaurants at Bayhorse and later at Clayton. He was known as the man who shot Ed Treloar's eye out at Cyayton. He died of a suicide, as he jumped into the Salmon River. He was 77 years old.
