Funeral services for Faye Wilson, 96, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wood Dunning Colonial Chapel with Kim Hays of Garland Street Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood Dunning Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilson died Monday, March 3, 2008, at Prairie House Living Center. She was born April 13, 1911, in Dye Mound to Eugene and Mable Royal. She married O.V. Wilson on Jan. 12, 1933. She was a homemaker and a member of Kress Study Club and Kress Church of Christ. She moved to Plainview in 1977 and became a member of Garland Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gayleen and Sid McLean of Birmingham, Ala.; two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. Her husband and two brothers, Troy Royal and Eugene Royal Jr., are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to Lubbock Children's Home.
