OBITUARIES Clara Mae Huffty, 1935 – 2023
Clara Mae Huffty passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was born in Calhoun County, Florida on November 28, 1935. She was a member of Warrenton Independent Baptist Church. She has been loved and cared for by the staff of Vicksburg Convalescent Home for the past two years.

She is preceded in death by her parents James. L. and Florida Mae Landrum; husband, Kent M. Huffty; sisters, Lula Pearl Baggett and Emmaree Brown; brothers, James Landrum and Earl Landrum; step-son, Ricky Joe Huffty; and great-granddaughter Harper Grace Huffty.

She is survived by her daughters Judy Parker (David) and Brenda Huffty; grandchildren she raised, Crystal White (Dane), Nicholas Johnson, and Bryan Huffty; great-grandchildren she adopted, Hunter Huffty, Nicholes Huffty and Tye Johnson; step-son, Mitchell Ray Huffty; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Cresswell and Rev. Marvin Curtis will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service on Monday. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Trae White, Logan White, Hunter Huffty, Nicholes Huffty, Tye Johnson, Samuel Huffty, Aiden Huffty and Isaac Huffty.
