Patricia Joann Sego, 80, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at her home.

Born May 23, 1942, in Pekin to Frederick "Fritz" and Ora Marcelle (Kohtz) Helmig, she married Danny Lee Sego on March 3, 1962, in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are three children, David (Lori) Sego of Pekin, Daniel (Corie) Sego of Green Valley and Denise (Eric) Burton of Fenton, Missouri; and one sister, Kathy Beal of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronnie Helmig.

Pat had a gift as a seamstress and formerly co-owned and operated Formally Yours in Morton for five years. She also had worked retail in various locations over the years.

Pat was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin. Her spirituality was important to her and she enjoyed the Bible studies she took part in.

She enjoyed collecting old patterns, antiquing and baking. She also had a love for animals.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
